Recently crowned the 2023 AMA Supercross Champ Chase Sexton has suffered a broken collarbone, concussions, broken teeth, and many other injuries that would make the normal human question why one would continue to get back on the bike.
It’s as simple as having a love for the sport, a passion for competition, and an enjoyment for winning. This fall, Sexton will be squaring off in a three-round hybrid SuperMotocross World Championship playoff and final, starting Sept. 9, for a chance at $5.5 million.
The Illinois native walked M&F through some of the usual items that accompany him during testing and racing.
Chase’s birthday is Sept. 23. He won his first title at 23 this year, and also wears the number 23.
Whether it’s at the races or testing during the week, I always wear full protection—helmet, jersey, riding pants and moto boots,” Sexton says
“Pedaling is a huge part of my training program—both mountain biking and road cycling.”
“I’m a Monster Energy athlete and make sure to stay hydrated with Hydro and Rehab Tea + Lemonade,” says Sexton.
“As a resident of Florida, it’s pretty much mandatory to spend off-time on the golf course,” Sexton says.
