Read articleThe Rock was pumped to promote the debut of the trailer of Furious 7 over the weekend. The first glance of what is to come in the seventh installment of the hugely successful franchise is all the more poignant because of the tragic death of Paul Walker last year.
Walker is featured in the trailer alongside fellow original cast members Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster. Long-time franchise stars Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris are back as well. Taking on the mantle of bad-guy supreme in the movie is Jason Statham, and the ageless Kurt Russell also gets a piece of the action. Oh, and UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey also has a role. The Rock announced the trailer on his Twitter feed saying:
