Dwayne Johnson proudly accepts ICON Award and his business partner at Seven Bucks Productions, Dany Garcia, talks about what Mr. Olympia means to them.
The accolades just keep on coming for mega-star, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. In case you missed it, The Rock made quite a splash at this year’s Olympia in Las Vegas. His epic appearance at the Expo thrilled thousands who got a chance to see the charismatic athlete and entertainer at the Muscle & Fitness booth. Johnson then went on to pump up the Orleans Arena at the Mr. Olympia competition, where he received the first ever Joe Weider “Man of the Century ICON Award”.
For those fortunate enough to be in attendance, it was a night to remember, and the jam-packed audience loved every minute of it. As always, Johnson was very gracious of the honor bestowed upon him. After mentioning the value of hard work in the weight room, in a recent Instagram post (below), the “Man of the Century” goes on to thank David Pecker and the entire AMI team for making this amazing event possible.
Not the first, and certainly not the last award Johnson will be adding to his mantle, but this one will certainly go down in the books as one of the best!
