Jon “Bones” Jones clearly isn’t letting his one-year suspension from the UFC get him down. Over the weekend, the former light heavyweight champion deadlifted 500 pounds and claimed to not be maxing out.

Jones tested positive for banned substances just before UFC 200 in July, where he was scheduled to fight Daniel Cormier. He was removed from the card and Cormier fought Anderson Silva instead. Jones received the ban from USADA but is looking to get it reduced at an arbitration hearing set to take place today, according to mmajunkie.com.
